The livestock school is for youth exhibitors to learn about raising and showing livestock. Species include lamb, goat, swine, and cattle track. Youth must be 4-H age novice or older.

Hosted by the Socorro County Extension Service in collaboration with the Doña Ana, Hidalgo, and Sierra Counties.
Kitchen Creations is a cooking school for people with diabetes and their families. It is jointly supported by the Diabetes Prevention and Control Program and the New Mexico State University (NMSU) Cooperative Extension Service.
